Nezha knew he was unlucky; being born in the outer circle was basically a sentence to an early death after spending your life working in factories to manufacture products you'd never be able to afford. However, Nezha's beauty made him the perfect candidate to become a Rentboy, and after finding some success at a brothel in the inter-circle, he's convinced he's only one good night away from changing his family's lives forever.
Unfortunately, everything goes to hell when the brothel unexpectedly shuts down, forcing Nezha to get in on a heist to steal Xiandan; a highly addictive drug that has a 1/50 chance of mutating the user's DNA, turning them into a superhuman known as a "Splicer".
When the heist inevitably goes south, Nezha finds himself gifted with more power than he could've imagined. He immediately comes to an intoxicating realization; he finally has what it takes to change his life, and he has no intention of wasting this opportunity. He'll join forces with Yang Jian, the leader of a rock band/cyber rebel group, and also Ao Bing, son of the city's wealthiest and most powerful CEO.
Together they will bring down Chentang's literal and metaphorical walls, while proving that their bond is the strongest force on the planet

Li Nezha (李哪吒)

Born in the Outer Circle of Chentang City, Nezha has always been known for his unparalleled beauty. He decided to use his looks to his advantage by becoming a Rentboy in the Inter-Circle, but he’s always dreamed of moving up in the world. After being exposed to frankly insane amounts of Xiandan, he finally has the power to make the change he’s always dreamed of, though on a much grander scale than he’s ever imagined
Ao Bing (敖丙)
25 Years Old
One of the many sons of Shenlong Corp’s illustrious CEO, Ao Bing has spent his entire life as his older brother’s keeper. Since he was fifteen he’s been little more than a glorified bodyguard, but after becoming addicted to Xiandan, he has the firepower to protect the company heir from any and all harm. However, there’s a lot more to his addiction than meets the eye; a history of abuse and pain that may light the fire to burn Shenlong Corp to the ground once and for all
Yang Jian (杨戬)
26 Years Old
Formerly one of the most famous Idol Singers in Chentang City under the stage name Erlang Shen, Jian is now an infamous Rock Icon; using his music as a rallying cry to spark rebellion. Behind the scenes, he’s even more dedicated to the cause; being the leader of the cyber-rebel gang known only as Ghostnet. Until now, Ghostnet has been forced into the shadows by the constant watchful eye of the Jinyiwei Secret Police, but with Nezha and Bing’s assistance, Jian is finally ready to gear up for the grand finale
Sun Wukong (孫悟空)
Age Unknown
Born onto the turbulent streets of Chentang City’s Outer Circle, Wukong rose to infamy as a member of the 24k triad alongside his adopted brother Niu Mowang. When he became one of the city’s first Splicers, he went on a criminal rampage unlike any the world had ever seen. No matter how hard the authorities tried to stop him, he was always too powerful, too crafty, or both. However his fortune changed when he met a revolutionary by the name of Tang Xuanzang, who convinced him that his brains and brawn could be used to usher in a better future for the city
Li Muzha (李木吒)
27 Years Old
Muzha is Nezha’s older sister, and a brilliant detective who finds herself estranged from her family. She’s the only one of her siblings to get high enough grades to qualify for a chance to take the Municipal Exams, and she did well enough to get a job working for the Chentang City Police Department. However, rather than helping her family, she quickly grew to resent them; feeling that they started to leech off her, and knowing that her brothers would likely ruin everything she worked hard for
29 Years Old
Jinzha is the eldest and most reckless of Nezha’s siblings. He’s never been booksmart, but from a young age he had a knack for coming up with unorthodox solutions to problems. This caused him to give up on school pretty early (not uncommon for Outer Circle kids) and take up working as a Merc; a glorified lackey who would perform illegal jobs for anyone willing to shill out credits. This most often meant working for the notorious 24k Triad, who have now offered Jinzha a chance at the score of a lifetime… a chance he wants Nezha to get in on
